I just posted two pictures of my 75 and 29 gallon tanks in "alt.binaries.aquaria". Both have less than 2 watts per gallon lighting. All of the plants are also supposed to be comfortable in that range: Java Vallisneria Anubias Lanceolata Anubias Frazeri Anubias Barteri Anubias Congensis Cryptoco..

Greetings folks, Well, I got my shipment of "low light" plants in today, and I placed them in my 10 gal. tank. The number of plants was substantial, but I thought the tank could use a little more green, so I ordered a 1/4 lb. of java moss. Meanwhile, I replaced the fluorescent bulb to another full..

Because of the depth of my tank (30inchs) and the limited lighting (3x25watt tubes) I've stocked the tank with plants that require low/medium light. I've included the stock list below but am wondering if the plants which are growing ok but slowly would benefit from the addition of CO2, or because ..

« I dont know about your current hood but you need minimum two more 40watt bulbs. This will give you little more than 2 watts per gal. Or go for 2x55w bulbs. Regards Dominic »

I recently set up a 20 gallon 16" high tank, and it will be for the most part a planted tank. I have a few things in it right now, but the only name that springs to mind is WaterSprite (center of the tank), and 1 Anubias (not sure of which kind) that fills a corner and is the full height. I am..
