Post subject: Moss ball
Archived from groups: rec>aquaria>freshwater>plants (more info?)

I have a moss ball for about a month now. After about a week little pieces
were starting to break off and litter the tank getting stuck in my bio
filter system. I put the ball in a fine mesh, like a bridal veil material
to hold it together. Any reason it started to lose pieces? normal? And
I'm asking myself what is the point of having a moss ball if it is wrapped
in mesh. ?
